DTC B1982: Device Power 1 Circuit High: Description

When Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) is awake, IPC continuously checks for battery voltage at connector C1, terminals A1 (Orange wire) and B1 (Orange wire). DTC B1982 will set when voltage at IPC connector C1, terminals A1 and B1 is more than 15.5 volts for 1200 milliseconds.

When DTC B1982 is set, driver message center on IPC will display BATTERY VOLTAGE HIGH. If DTC B1982 is a current code, no loss of class 2 serial data DTCs will be set.
