CVRSS Dampers With Integral Solenoid Actuators

CVRSS shock absorbers and struts provide dampening by forcing fluid through internal orifices to resist suspension movement. Several levels of operation are achieved by redirecting oil flow using a damper solenoid actuator. Soft mode is accomplished by switching solenoid actuator on, causing oil to bypass main damper. Firm mode is accomplished by switching solenoid actuator off, causing oil to flow through main damper.
