Turn Signal Indicators Always On - Right

If lighting diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If lighting diagnostic system check was not performed, go to LIGHTING DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
If right turn signal exterior lights operate properly, go to next step. If right turn signal exterior lights do not operate properly, diagnose turn signals always on. See EXTERIOR LIGHTS article in WIRING DIAGRAMS.
Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) SPECIAL FUNCTIONS and perform DISPLAY(S) TEST. Monitor right turn signal indicator during test. If right turn signal indicator comes on during test and then turns off, check for intermittent circuits and connections for right turn signal. If right turn signal indicator does not come on during test and then turn off, go to next step.
Replace IPC. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, go to next step.
After repairs, recheck operation of indicator. If indicator operates properly, repair is complete. If indicator does not operate properly, go to step 2 .
