Driver Information Center (DIC) display messages include single-frame and multiple-frame messages. When more than one message is displayed, single-frame messages are displayed for 5 seconds with 1/2 second of non-display time between messages. Each frame of multiple-frame messages is displayed for 3 seconds with no non-display time in between. When the entire message is displayed, there is 1/2 second of non-display time before the next message is displayed. DIC messages can be displayed in English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese under the LANGUAGE option of DIC.

DIC warning messages are used to inform driver of a system fault or system status update. Most warning messages are acknowledged by pressing a DIC switch, which allows driver to prevent a message from being displayed continuously. Messages that are not acknowledged will continue to be displayed until condition is no longer present. When multiple messages are displayed, the DIC will continuously cycle through all messages until each one is acknowledged.

Warning messages displayed are as follow. Some messages will be accompanied by an indicator light and/or audible warning chime operation.
