Driver's Information Center

The Driver Information Center (DIC) is used to display alpha-numeric information to driver and provide a method of displaying select vehicle information upon request and warning messages when necessary. See DRIVER'S INFORMATION CENTER DISPLAY  under OPERATION. DIC also allows driver to manually program certain functions of vehicle systems. Programmable systems include keyless entry, power door locks, memory systems, power seats and power mirrors. See PROGRAMMING  . The DIC is a one line, 22 character, vacuum fluorescent (VF) display. DIC is located at lower edge of Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). Functions of DIC are controlled by 6 switches, 3 on each side of IPC.
