High Beam Indicator Inoperative

Turn ignition switch to ON position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Select DIM OUTPUT on scan tool display. Turn headlight high beams ON. If scan tool indicates high beams as ON, replace IPC. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation. If scan tool does not indicate high beams as ON, repair wiring as necessary. See appropriate wiring diagram in HEADLIGHT SYSTEMS & DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS article.
