Tie Rod (Toe Link): Installation

Install toe-link-to-suspension support bolt and nut. DO NOT tighten bolt at this time. See Figure .
Install the NEW toe link outer bolt. DO NOT tighten bolt at this time. See Figure .
Support the outboard end of the lower control arm with a screw jack in order to bring the suspension in design position (ride height). The toe link must be tightened in design position in order to reduce wind up in the bushings.
Tighten the outer toe link bolt and the inner toe link nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

NOTE: Perform a rear wheel alignment after removal and installation of the toe link.

Install the tire and wheel assemblies. Tighten the wheel lug nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
