Engine Coolant Temperature Indicator Inoperative

Start engine. If engine coolant temperature indicator comes on during bulb check at start up, perform On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) system check. See TESTS W/CODES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If engine coolant temperature indicator does not come on during bulb check at start up, replace IPC. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
