Upper Control Arm: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel assemblies.
  2. Disconnect the electric level control height sensor link if equipped. Disconnect the road sensing suspension position sensor and bracket from the shock tower if equipped.
  3. On all models remove the inner and outer control arm bolts. See Fig 1 . Raise the control arm up and over the shock tower in order to remove the control arm from the vehicle.
