Upper Control Arm: Installation

Install upper control arm. Place the screw jack under the outboard end of the lower control arm in order to bring the suspension to ride height position. The inner control arm nuts must be tightened with suspension loaded to reduce the wind up in the bushings. See Fig 1.
Tighten the upper control arm inner and outer nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedures. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
