DTC B2782: Pass-Key(R) II Pellet Value Not Programmed: Testing

  1. If IPC diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If IPC diagnostic system check was not performed, go to procedures in IPC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
  2. Insert another key into ignition switch. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check for DTCs. If DTC B2782 is current, go to next step. If DTC B2782 is not current, go step 4).
  3. Replace other ignition key. Perform IPC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
  4. Replace IPC. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform IPC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
