DTC B2782: Pass-Key(R) II Pellet Value Not Programmed: Description

When ignition key is inserted in ignition, resistance of key pellet is measured. Resistance is compared with resistance value stored in IPC memory. DTC B2782 will set when IPC does not have a valid key pellet resistance in memory, and a valid resistance was not learned within 2 seconds after vehicle was started. When DTC B2782 is set, IPC will display PROGRAM PASSKEY message on driver's message center. DTC B2782 will clear when IPC learns and stores a valid key pellet resistance.
