DTC B2750: Pass-Key(R) II Data Communication Malfunction: Description

When ignition key is inserted in ignition, resistance of key pellet is measured. Resistance is compared with resistance value stored in IPC memory. DTC B2750 will set if a malfunction occurs in communications between IPC and PCM. Check for any loss of serial data DTCs. If loss of serial data DTCs exist, diagnose those DTCs before continuing. When DTC B2750 is set, IPC will display THEFT SYSTEM PROBLEM, CAR MAY NOT RESTART message on driver's message center.
