DTC B1910: Generator "L" Terminal Open Circuit: Description

Generator grounds circuit No. 225 (Red wire) when ignition switch is in RUN position and engine speed is less than 400 RPM. DTC B1910 will set when IPC determines that engine speed is less than 400 RPM and senses a high voltage (open) in generator "L" terminal feedback circuit. This circuit will only be tested when ignition switch is in RUN position, engine speed is less than 400 RPM and vehicle diagnostic system is not activated.
