Seat Belt Indicator Always On

  1. If IPC diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If IPC diagnostic system check was not performed, go to procedures in IPC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTING.
  2. Connect scan tool. Using scan tool, check SDM data list value for FASTEN BELTS. Unbuckle driver's belt. If scan tool does not display ON, go to next step. If scan tool displays ON, locate and repair problem in audible warning system.
  3. Replace IPC. See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform IPC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTING.
