Check Washer Fluid Message Always On

  1. Connect scan tool. Disconnect windshield washer fluid level switch connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using scan tool, read status for washer fluid level switch in IPC data. If scan tool displays OFF for washer fluid level switch input, go to step 3). If scan tool does not display OFF for washer fluid level switch input, go to next step.
  2. Repair short in Blue/White wire between washer fluid level switch and IPC Gray 24-pin connector C2, terminal B12. Recheck system operation.
  3. Replace washer fluid level switch. Recheck system operation.
