DTC B2710 Or B2711: Description

When ignition key is inserted to ignition, resistance of key pellet is measured. Resistance is compared with resistance value stored in IPC memory. DTC B2710 will set if an open or zero resistance value is measured from key pellet prior to obtaining a valid resistance reading. DTC B2711 will set if an open or zero resistance value is measured from key pellet following a valid resistance reading.
