Calibrating RSS Control Module

NOTE: To ensure NEW RSS control module is calibrated for specific vehicle, Code RS0051 is stored in memory. After replacing RSS control module, it must be calibrated. If NEW RSS control module is not calibrated, code cannot be cleared.

Ensure Tech 1 scan tool is equipped with latest version of chassis application program. Turn ignition off. Connect Tech 1 scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on, engine off. To calibrate RSS control module, follow instructions on Tech 1 scan tool. Perform ELC trim height and steering autocenter adjustments. See ELC TRIM HEIGHT and STEERING AUTOCENTER .
