Generator L-Terminal Fault Malfunction

This test is only performed when engine is running with an engine speed greater than 600 RPM and service diagnostics is not active.
Probe generator "L" terminal (Red wire) and check for battery voltage while engine is running. If battery voltage is present, check for an intermittent short or open circuit in Red wire. If battery voltage is not present, check for an open circuit in Red wire. If wire is okay, replace IPC.
