Calibrating RSS Module

NOTE: To ensure RSS module is calibrated for specific vehicle, Code 50 or 51 is stored in memory in new RSS module. After replacing an RSS module, it must be calibrated. If RSS module is not calibrated, code cannot be cleared.

Ensure Tech 1 scan tester is equipped with latest version of chassis application program. Turn ignition off. Connect Tech 1 scan tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on, engine off. To calibrate RSS module, follow instructions on Tech 1 scan tester.
