Fault Conditions

If a short to ground or to an external voltage prevents correct supply regulation on any sensor supply output, the RSS module detects a generic supply fault. If any sensor input faults are also active, the corresponding sensor supply overcurrent faults are set. A sensor supply fault will be stored simultaneously with a sensor input fault whenever a problem exists with the sensor supply circuit.
