RSS System Check
- Turn ignition on. Note all messages on instrument panel cluster. Enter diagnostics. See USING DIAGNOSTICS under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS . If diagnostics can be entered, go to next step. If diagnostics cannot be entered, problem exists in instrument panel cluster. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT Section.
- Record codes (if present). If no codes are present, go to next step. If codes are present, go to appropriate diagnostic chart. See DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS .
- If SERVICE RIDE CONTROL message is displayed, go to SERVICE RIDE CONTROL MESSAGE DISPLAYED, NO RSS CODES SET chart. See DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS . If SERVICE RIDE CONTROL message is not displayed, problem is no longer present. See NOTES ON INTERMITTENTS .
