Test Conditions

The RSS module monitors the damper solenoid circuit on the high side and low side of the coil during boost and hold portions of the boost-Pulse Width Modulation (boost-PWM) hold commands. The RSS module expects to see the high side feedback low and the low side feedback high during the first millisecond of boost.

After this, the RSS module expects to see the high side feedback low and the low side feedback low until the 15-millisecond boost time elapses. It also expects to see the high side high and the low side low during hold with the PWM low. Consequently, it expects to see the high side feedback low and the low side feedback high during hold with the PWM high.
