Test Conditions

The RSS module monitors the damper solenoid circuit on the high side and low side of the coil during off and boost portions of the boost-Pulse Width Modulation (boost-PWM) hold commands. The RSS module expects to see the high side feedback high and low side feedback low when the valve is off. It also expects to see the high side low and the low side high during the first millisecond of boost. After this, it expects to see the high side feedback low and the low side feedback low until the 15-millisecond boost time elapses.
