Continuous Strut Actuator Cycling

This procedure enables a diagnostic mode in SSS control module to cycle each actuator from position to position. SSS control module holds actuator in each position for 2 seconds and checks for errors. To start procedure, connect a 6600-ohm resistor between terminal "A" (ground) and terminal "C" of DLC, or between terminal D16 (ground) and terminal D2 of SSS control module connector. See Figure or Figure . Turn ignition on. If an actuator fault exists, actuator will not cycle until fault is corrected and SSS control module has performed its self-diagnostic test (every 3 minutes).
