Lift/Dive Input

PCM calculates vehicle lift/dive that occurs during sharp acceleration and deceleration. SSS control module applies voltage reference signal to PCM. If PCM detects lift or dive, it grounds voltage reference signal from SSS control module. This pulls the voltage signal low. SSS control module then commands actuators to FIRM mode to prevent lift/dive. When lift or dive condition is no longer present, PCM stops grounding voltage reference signal, causing the voltage reference signal to go back to high. SSS control module then commands actuators to original mode setting.
