Stop Engine Temperature Warning Indicator Light Test
- Disconnect engine metal temperature switch electrical connector located at rear of cylinder head on firewall side. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect a fused jumper wire between connector terminal "A" (Light Green wire) and ground. If STOP ENGINE TEMP indicator illuminates and alarm chime sounds, replace engine metal temperature switch.
- If indicator light does not come on, check bulb, Light Green wire and flexible circuit for an open circuit. If alarm does not sound, check Light Green wire and chime module diode for an open circuit. Chime module is located behind right side of instrument panel, behind glove box.
