Chime Module Test

  1. Disconnect electrical connector at chime module located behind right side of instrument panel, behind glove box. Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage between connector terminal "A" (Orange wire) and ground. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair open circuit in Orange wire.
  2. Check for battery voltage between connector terminals "A" (Orange wire) and "B" (Black wire). If battery voltage is not present, repair open circuit in Black wire. If battery voltage is present, replace the chime module.
