Trip Reset Switch Test

  1. Replace trip reset switch with a known good component. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Press trip reset switch and check trip odometer.
  2. If trip odometer now displays all zeros, replace trip reset switch. If trip odometer does not reset, replace instrument cluster.
