"STOP ENGINE TEMP" Indicator Light Test
- Disconnect engine metal temperature switch electrical connector (located at rear of cylinder head on firewall side). Turn on ignition. Using a fused jumper wire, jumper between Light Green wire harness connector and ground. The "STOP ENGINE TEMP" indicator light should come on and alarm chime should sound.
- If indicator light does not come on, check Light Green wire and Light Green wire "flex circuit" for open. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS section. If alarm does not sound, check chime module diode for open.
