Fuel Gauge Always Reads Full
- Raise vehicle and disconnect fuel tank sending unit connector. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance across harness side connector.
- If reading is more than one ohm, repair open in Purple wire to Body Control Module (BCM). If reading is less than one ohm, turn ignition on and observe fuel gauge. If fuel center is flashing "E", replace fuel tank sending unit. If fuel center indicates full, repair short to voltage in Purple wire.
