Fuel Gauge Always Flashing "E"
- Raise vehicle and disconnect fuel tank sending unit connector. Using a jumper wire, jumper across harness side connector. Turn ignition on and observe fuel gauge.
- If fuel gauge reads full, replace fuel tank sending unit. If fuel gauge is flashing "E", remove jumper wire.
- Using a voltmeter, check voltage between Pink/Black (feed wire) and Black/White (system ground) at fuel tank. If reading is zero volt, repair open in Purple wire. If reading is battery voltage, repair open in Pink/Black wire.
