- Turn on ignition. Enter diagnostics and select BCM input BI30. See COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS section for proper procedure.
- Press "TEMP/TIME" button. BCM display should read "LO". With "TEMP/TIME" button not pressed, BCM display should read "HI". If BCM displays are correct and "TEMP/TIME" display does not work, replace CCDIC.
- If BCM displays are not correct in step 2), remove CCDIC module. See CLIMATE CONTROL & DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER (CCDIC) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. With electrical connector connected, jumper terminals A7 and B2. Refer to appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS section.
- If BCM display reads "LO" in step 3), replace CCDIC. If BCM display reads "HI", backprobe BCM terminal 3C9 with a fused jumper wire to ground. If display reads "LO", check Gray/Red wire for open.
- If BCM display was "HI" in step 4), check BCM terminal 3C9 for good contact. If contact is good, replace BCM.
