Removal ("C" & "H" Bodies)
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove ELC height sensor link on right control arm (if equipped). Remove parking brake cable retaining clip. Separate suspension adjustment link from control arm. See SUSPENSION ADJUSTMENT LINK in this article.
- Remove coil spring. See COIL SPRING & INSULATORS in this article. Separate ball joint from control arm. See step 3) under BALL JOINT in this article. Remove control arm retaining bolts. Remove control arm.
NOTE:
Control arm bushings are different sizes, requiring different combinations of removers/installers for replacement.
