Lower Ball Joint ("C" & "H" Bodies)
- On all models except DeVille or Fleetwood, inspect ball joint for looseness. Replace ball joint if looseness exists. On DeVille or Fleetwood models, position vehicle at normal operating height.
- Check that ball joint grease fitting shoulder does not protrude past ball joint housing cover. See Fig 1 . Replace ball joint if grease fitting is flush or below cover.
