Fuel Display Shows Flashing "E" at All Times

Check for fuel tank sending unit lead shorted to ground. Repair or replace wiring harness. With ignition off, open pin "G" to ground at cluster connector. Turn ignition on. After segment check, fuel gauge should display flashing "--".
