Fuel Display Shows "--" at All Times

  1. Check fuel tank sending unit lead for open or loose connector terminal. Repair open wire or replace connector terminal. Repair or replace fuel tank sending unit.
  2. With ignition off, short pin "G" to ground at cluster connector. Turn ignition on. After segment check, fuel gauge should display flashing "E".
