The instrument panel contains instruments, indicators and controls necessary for the operation of standard and accessory features. DeVille, Eldorado, Fleetwood and Seville have information centers located in 2 panels, one on either side of steering column.

Cimarron may be equipped with a digital instrument panel. DeVille, Eldorado, Fleetwood and Seville may be equipped with a digital display speedometer. When ignition is first turned on, not all of the elements of the first numeral will illuminate, this is a normal condition.

Speeds may be displayed in either miles per hour or kilometers per hour. The outside temperature, the Electronic Climate Control (ECC) set temperature, fuel information and odometer readings can all be changed from English to Metric by depressing English/Metric selector switch.

The cluster will display the word "ENGLISH" or "METRIC" when switch is depressed or when car is started. These words remain lit for about 15 seconds, then go off.
