Removal & Installation (Eldorado & Seville)
- Disconnect battery negative cable. Remove 4 trim plate retaining screws and plate. With shift lever in "P" position, remove shift indicator clip from steering column. Remove 4 screws securing instrument cluster. Remove nuts attaching steering column to upper bracket and lower column.
- Place clean shop towel on steering column and pull cluster rearward. Reach behind cluster and depress retaining clip securing speedometer cable. If a digital cluster, reach behind cluster and disconnect printed circuit connector. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
