SUBJECT: GARNISH MOLDING RATTLE
MODELS AFFECTED: 1985-1988 CIMARRONS
Some 1985-1988 Cimarrons may experience a garnish molding rattle. This may be caused by body build variations in the upper rail of the door openings.
FIGURE 1 - GARNISH MOLDING INSTALLATION:
This condition may be repaired by installing molding retainer clips, P/N 20286225, as shown in the illustration. Use two clips per molding.
For warranty purposes use Labor Operation C3028 (RH) at .2 hour or C3038 (LH) at .2 hour.
