Location of a special torx bolt with ID groove in the center.




In mid-1985 a special torx bolt was added that helps to hold the channel plate to the case, and is located under the valve body. This bolt is approximately 1 7/8" long, and has a groove between the top of the bolt and the threads. The figure shows the correct location of this bolt (at point "A"). Proper torque on the bolt is 6-10 ft. lbs.
