PROBLEM: Intermittent Harsh 3-2 Downshift

CAUSE:
May be a broken 3-2 line control retainer 1985-1/2 - 1986




The retainer is part of the 3-2 line control valve train, located in the channel plate, and can be accessed by revolving the case side cover pan.

A new retainer clip can be obtained by ordering part number 8658678.
