Removal & Installation (DeVille & Fleetwood)
- Disconnect battery ground. Remove A/C vent knob and grille using puller (J-24612-01). Remove 6 screws retaining bezel to panel (one screw inside A/C vent). Remove 2 upper and 2 lower screws in steering column cover, disconnect column seal, and remove bezel.
- Remove 3 headlight switch screws. On vehicles with cruise control, remove 2 screws securing cruise control switch to instrument panel. Slide cruise control switch forward to remove light switch. Disconnect 2-piece connector from headlight switch.
- Disconnect Guidematic and Twilight sentinel from under instrument panel. Pull headlight switch out of instrument panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
