Cylinder Head: Installation
Clean all gasket surfaces and coat both sides of head gasket with sealer. Install gasket on block and install cylinder heads.
NOTE:
On Cadillac, bottom rear bolts must be installed prior to positioning of cylinder heads.
Dip cylinder head bolts in engine oil, install and tighten in two steps in sequence shown in Fig. 2.
