Engine Running, Lamp On

Disconnect sending unit wire. If indicator lamp goes off, sending unit is grounded or engine has low oil pressure. Replace sending unit or check oil pressure as required. If lamp remains on, perform continuity checks as described under "Ignition On, Lamp Off, Engine Not Running."
