Rear Seat Cushion Removal and Installation

1	Rear Seat Cushion Procedure Using a suitable tool, depress the button on the rear center seat belt mini buckle to release the rear center seat belt. Insert a 457 mm (18 in) prybar next to the inboard side of each wire loop and push down, using the floor as leverage, to disengage the retainers. Pull up on the front of the seat cushion and lift out of the vehicle. Inspect each high retention retainer and sheet metal interface for flushness. Replace retainer as required if damage occurs during removal. When installing new plastic retainers on the front of the seat, ONLY seat the retainer to the first click, otherwise the insertion force into the sheet metal will be greatly increased. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connectors.

Procedure

Pull up on the front of the seat cushion and lift out of the vehicle.
