Without Scan Tool - Option 1

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode & Engine - Off
  2. Press the accelerator pedal from a closed throttle position to a wide open throttle position 3 times within 5 s

    Verify the scan tool parameter: Engine Oil Life Remaining = 100%

    • If not the specified value 

      Repeat the procedure starting at step 1

    • Go to next step: If the specified value 
  3. All OK.
