Roof Console Replacement (Except C3U)

Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
1	Roof Console NOTE: Do NOT pull the roof console downwards at an angle. The console MUST be pulled downwards in line with the roof console retainers. The retainers are stronger than the console assembly. During removal, the console may separate, and if this happens, the roof console will need to be reassembled. Procedure Insert fingers between the headlining panel and the roof console and squeeze the two front plastic retaining tabs inwards until they clear the panel. Grasping the plastic base of the roof console on both sides, pull downwards in line with the roof console retainers to disengage the retainers. Disconnect all electrical connectors. Transfer components as necessary. Reassemble the roof console if it becomes separated upon removal. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
