Removal Procedure

Without draining the coolant and without disconnecting the hoses, remove and position aside the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement

NOTE:
Completely loosen the power brake booster bolts.

Power Brake Booster Bolt (1) - Loosen [2x]

NOTE:

Assistant required.

Perform the following to release the brake pedal retainer

Compress the brake pedal retainer (1) locking tabs.

Slowly have an assistant pull the power brake booster away from the cowl panel until the brake pedal retainer clears the brake pedal assembly.
