Removal Procedure

Brake Fluid Irritant Warning

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect

  4. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Brake Hose Retainer (1) - Remove

    Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip (1) @ Front Brake Hose - Release [2x]

    Bolt (1) - Remove

    Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Do NOT reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.

    Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (1) @ Brake Hose (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]

  10. Cap the brake caliper inlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  11. Remove the brake hose.
